Day 5 kicked off with an amazing tour of Mark Merrills jaw dropping Volkswagen collection in Mountain View, and a great spread of bagels, fruit, croissants, and pastries. We filled up Marks parking lot quickly with Treffeners and those that had come to just drop by and see the museum for themselves. Mark graciously took everyone through and gave the history on each car, some so rare there where less than a few dozen made. 
Everyone had a great time, and everyone here at Airhead thanks Mark for such a wonderful kick off to our day. Raffle prizes where handed out kids drove around small electric VW bugs and received toys to play with. Thanks Mark!
After leaving Marks we traveled a short distance to Monterey, to refuel and gather again. From there it was off to Big Sur!
We arrived at around 3pm at the Big Sur to a terrific late lunch hosted at the Big Sur lodge. From there it was off to Fernwood where everyone got some time to have some fun and explore the town of Big Sur.
The night ended with an awesome impromptu smores party, singing, and lots of laughs. Tomorrow we spend a few more hours here and leave late, all are looking forward to a great day of enjoying the redwoods.
