As last year, the Treffen Cruise will begin immediately following the Rose City Bug-In on Sunday July 29th and end with the VW Treffen 14 car show in Channel Islands Harbor, CA now on Sunday August 5th 2012. We have extended the cruise a full day this year to include all the fun we can possibly squeeze in!
This year we have shaken things up a bit; our first night will be spent in Portland where we will enjoy an evening kickoff party before we start our scenic drive bright and early the next morning. The Humbugs vintage VW car club will be hosting a BBQ when we arrive further on our trip at a scenic park in Eureka,CA. We will be crossing the Golden Gate and celebrating its 75th year anniversary by spending the night in the city of San Francisco. We will tour the Mark Merrill museum, and spend an entire evening and afternoon enjoying the unmatched scenery of Big Sur. Maps will be providing outlining all sorts of fun activities for our time there, including art galleries, a movie night, and short hikes to enjoy. Make sure to bring your appetite this year as we have planned some great stops at local breweries and restaurants that you won’t find anywhere else.
